Professional Student DressWe believe that students’ attitude and conduct may be affected by the way in which they dress for school. Our children come to school dressed appropriately and ready to learn. If your child is wearing inappropriate clothing, you will be asked to bring clothing from home or your student may be supplied with clothing to finish the day. Baldy View seeks to maintain high standards for all students and have a dress code as adopted by the Upland Unified School District. In order for your child to do his/her best work, these rules must be followed at school or at school activities:- Appropriate hats may be worn on the playground only and must be removed inside hallways and buildings. No doo-rags or sunglasses.
- No gang-related clothing, apparel, attire, jewelry, insignias, and colors
- For safety reasons shoes with heel straps must be worn at all times. No high heels, backless sandals or backless shoes, grinding or skate shoes, heavy boots or flip flops.
- No clothing or jewelry which is obscene, sexually explicit, pose a threat or which suggests obscene gestures, pictures, wording, violence, drugs, tobacco or alcohol.
- No oversized baggy or saggy clothing is allowed. Pants/shorts may not be more than 1 size larger than the student’s waist. Belts must be worn if pants don’t stay around waist. No cuffs with ragged edges.
- No skimpy tops that show skin or thin strap tank tops with bra straps showing. Midriff tops or make-up are inappropriate for school.
- No loose fitting sleeveless basketball shirts (a shirt can be worn under the basketball shirt)
- Any clothing or appearance factors that are disruptive to the normal school routine are unacceptable.
Reglas de Vestir del EstudianteNosotros creemos que la actitud y conducta del estudiante se refleja en la manera de venir vestido a la escuela. Nuestros estudiantes hacen un excelente trabajo en vestir apropiadamente para la escuela y estar listos para aprender. Si su hijo/a está usando ropa que es inapropiada, se le pedirá a usted que traiga de su casa un cambio de ropa para que él o ella pueda usar para terminar el día escolar. La Escuela Baldy View ha adoptado las regla de vestir y de apariencia por medio del Distrito Escolar Unificado de Upland. Para que su hijo cumpla con el reglamento, los siguientes artículos NO DEBEN SER USADOS en la escuela o en actividades escolares: - Gorras apropiadas pueden ser usadas en el patio de recreo siempre y cuando el estudiante no la use dentro del edificio escolar. No deben traer doo-rags o lentes.
- Ropa, joyas, insignias y colores que sean relacionados con pandillas.
- Por cuestión de seguridad ,no usar zapatos con tacón, sandalias sin correas, ni zapatos con patines o zapatos que tengan metal o plástico para resvalar.Tampoco botas pesadas o flip flops.
- Ropa o joyas que sean obscenas, explícitas sexualmente, o cualquier tipo de ropa demostrando fotografías o palabras que sean ofensivas, drogas, tabaco o producto alcohólico.
- No esta permitido usar ropa que sea ancha. Los pantalones y shorts deben ser una talla más que la cintura del alumno/a y deben usar un cinturón si es necesario. El doblez de los pantalones no debe estar deshilachado.
- No usar blusas que esten apretadas, cortas y/o con tirantes delgados que enseñen los tirantes del brassiere. Midriff y maquillaje son inapropiado para la escuela.
- No usar camisetas anchas sin mangas de basketball ( en ese caso, usar una camiseta debajo de la camiseta de basketball). Cualquier tipo de ropa o apariencia que pueda interrumpir la rutina escolar son inaceptables.
